Exceptions would be high school students who are taking credit classes in order to meet graduation requirements or those participating in the ESE Shared Time Vocational Program.<\/li>\n<li>Students entering the Adult Basic Education (ABE) or General Education Development (GED) programs are required to take the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE) for level placement. Students entering English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) programs are required to take the language placement test (CASAS). Students entering vocational programs of 450 clock hours or more in length are required to take the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE) upon entry into their program of study. Students scoring below the minimum exit requirement for their vocational program may be admitted on an \u201cability to benefit\u201d basis. These students will be required to enroll in academic training designed to increase basic skill levels, while continuing in their vocational studies. Upon achieving the minimum basic skill requirements, students will exit the academic program and concentrate on completing their vocational training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Registration Procedures<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Students wishing to register in Adult Education Program, must be 16 years of age or older and withdrawn from K-12 school. All students must complete a Data Input Registration Form #3999<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/forms.dadeschools.net\/webpdf\/3999.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"s3\">http:\/\/forms.dadeschools.net\/webpdf\/3999.pdf<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Registered high school students in need to complete credits in adult education, may enroll with a written permission and Credit Verification Form from the high school principal, only. (Form# 4269)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/forms.dadeschools.net\/webpdf\/4269.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"s3\">http:\/\/forms.dadeschools.net\/webpdf\/4269.pdf<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All students who register for Credit Recovery Courses must pay a $5.00 ID fee each trimester.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Proof of residency is no longer required for Adult General Education<\/b>\u00a0students (ESOL, ABE, AAAE, and GED), but students must present some form of picture identification (ID) in order to be registered. A student must pay a flat rate of $30.00 and a $5.00 ID per trimester.<\/li>\n<li><b>The tuition rates and proof of residency requirements for students registering for Career\/Technical Education (CTE) programs remain as indicated below:<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Students registering for CTE programs will still be required to prove Florida Residency to qualify for instate tuition.<\/li>\n<li>The established registration procedures for verifying Florida Residency for post-secondary CTE students will remain in effect. School site personnel will use the following guidelines:<\/li>\n<li>Verify residency utilizing FM-7425<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/forms.dadeschools.net\/webpdf\/7425.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/forms.dadeschools.net\/webpdf\/7425.pdf<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Indicate residency status on FM-3999 and enter into VACS<\/li>\n<li>Require students to sign and affidavit affirming residency for in-state tuition, utilizing FM-6909 or FM-6910<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/forms.dadeschools.net\/webpdf\/6909.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/forms.dadeschools.net\/webpdf\/6909.pdf<br \/>\n<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/forms.dadeschools.net\/webpdf\/6910.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"s3\">http:\/\/forms.dadeschools.net\/webpdf\/6910.pdf<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li>This process should also be followed for AGE students that can provide proof of Florida Residency for tuition purposes at the time of registration, should they decide to enroll in CTE programs in the future.<\/li>\n<li>All students are required to be tested as part of the registration process with the exception of students attending the regular high school program.<\/li>\n<li>Intake staff should strictly adhere to the following guidelines when registering a student\/applicant that is attempting to prove 12 consecutive months of Florida Residency:\u00a0<b>UNACCEPTABLE DOCUMENTS: Birth certificates, Library Cards, Bank Statements, Shopping\/Rental Club Cards, Hunting\/Fishing Licenses, Concealed Weapon\/Gun Permit.<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Acceptable documentations verifying in-state status are categorized as group A and group B.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"429\">\n<h4>Group A<\/h4>\n<\/td>\n<td width=\"380\">\n<h4>\u00a0Group B<\/h4>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"429\">Florida I.D. or Florida Driver\u2019s License<\/td>\n<td width=\"380\">Certified Letter from Agency<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"429\">Vehicle Registration<\/td>\n<td width=\"380\">Certificate of Domicile<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"429\">Proof of Homestead Exemption<\/td>\n<td width=\"380\">Enrollment in an Educational Institution<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"429\">Proof of Permanent Home<\/td>\n<td width=\"380\">Lease Agreement<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"429\">High School Transcript<\/td>\n<td width=\"380\">Membership in Florida-based Organization<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"429\">Voter\u2019s Registration Card<\/td>\n<td width=\"380\">Florida Incorporation (12 prior months)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"429\">Proof of Full-Time Employment for past 12 months<\/td>\n<td width=\"380\">Professional or Occupational License<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"429\">&nbsp;<\/td>\n<td width=\"380\">Utility Bill<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Note:\u00a0 One of the two pieces of documentation must be from group A.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_4&#8243;][et_pb_contact_form admin_label=&#8221;Find Out More&#8221;
